It's not for nothing that the notorious (and he's truly earned that adjective) Brotha Lynch Hung is known as the king of horrorcore rap, the hip-hop equivalent of Marilyn Manson or Rob Zombie. As ever, he revels in gory details, uncompromising scenarios, and in-your-face delivery to make his very visceral impact.

When he exclaims 'My Mind Ain't Right,' you know you can believe him, and when he turns out a two-disc concept album with an overriding death theme, you can watch pop crossover potential fly out the window even as the hardcore (or horrorcore) heads line up by the thousands to scarf it up.

Coates is right about one thing, just not how he thinks. The problems of the inner cities come primarily from Democrats who got rich and educated because they/their parents practiced American capitalism (Obama's typical rich white grandma who sent him to Hawaii's most exclusive private high school, for example). So in that very particular way, American capitalism is the problem. We just have to stop Democrats from making money and it'll be nirvana.
